In its southern end, the rocky plateau of the Tassili N’Ajjers breaks up into isolated sandstone reliefs-a concentration of rocky sculptures and cathedrals, set in the sumptuous red and yellow dunes of the ergs of Tin Merzouga, Mulinaga, In Zawaten, and In Tehak.

Alternating natural beauty with places associated with Saharan prehistory, evidence of a Neolithic period rich in water and wildlife: in natural shelters and on polished walls are painted or carved authentic artistic works spanning the Holocene post-glacial period. We will move by all-terrain vehicles without giving up exciting daily walks on the dunes and among the sandstone stacks.
