"Give me snow, give me dogs and keep the rest" said polar explorer Knud Rasmussen, and it is with this spirit that we propose a very "customizable" trip to discover Greenland in the winter, with the most traditional means of transport: the dog sled.
Travelling with animals is truly an amazing adventure, one that creates a special sense of closeness to nature. The dogsled seems animated as it follows the land’s ridges. The steamy breath accompanying the twelve barking dogs is the only sound, along with the musher’s orders, that breaks the magic silence of the Greenland ice. All this characterizes a path deliberately away from civilization, to personally experience the flavor of the Far North.
The lead actors here are the dogs, faithful companions that we get to know, take care of and with whom we interact in our common race on the ice cap. A journey, which thanks to its special logistics circuits in "star" format and overnight stays in warm shelters, is within reach of anyone who wants to discover the white universe of the arctic winter, the Northern Lights and a land where every limit becomes an unexpected adventure: amongst land and sea, amongst day and night, amongst the ice and the sky.
